Just a few things about me.

I'm a 25 year-old product designer living in Austin, Texas (open to living just about anywhere, though). I went to college here, moved out to Colorado for work and just recently moved back. Before all that, I lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany! And before Germany, I was born in Guam!

Perspective and sensemaking are everything to me, and I think living overseas for as long as I did is why I care so much about people. I also think I get a lot of my love from my mother (love ya, mom). When I look in the mirror I see a lot of different things. Things I've done, ideas I have about the world, ideas I used to have, who I've been, who I am today and who I want to be. A big part of that reflection (especially the today part) is that I, Taylor Lampe, am a designer. A designer whose core purpose in this world is to help discover and solve people's problems. I take immense pride in that. 

For the past few years, I've worked primarily in B2B environments, often focused on B2B problems. I've owned loads of research and testing, honed in my visual skills, gotten intimately familiar with machine learning and collaborated radically with many a team member. I have goals to inch closer towards a deeper perspective about our craft and increase my eminence through mentorship and community. 

Design thinking is at my core, and in many ways, I see and apply it as life thinking. Let's gather context, make assumptions, test them quickly, observe, reflect, make and repeat! Together!
